The High Commission of the Commonwealth of The Bahamas was first established in 1970. The following persons have served as High Commissioners since the Mission’s establishment:

 

• Sir Alvin Braynen (10 July 1973 – 30 June 1977)
• Mr Anthony Roberts (2 October 1977 – 14 September 1984)
• Mr Richard Demeritte (17 September 1984 – 13 May 1988)
• Dr. Patricia Rodgers (16 May 1988 – 30 October 1992)
• Sir Arthur A. Foulkes (9 November 1992 – 14 June 1999)
• Mr Basil G. O’Brien CMG (31 August 1999 – 31 January 2008)
• Mr Paul H Farquharson QPM (2 February 2008 – 21 August 2012)
• Mr. Eldred E Bethel (17 December 2012 – 31 July 2017)
• Mr. Ellison E. Greenslade C.D., QPM (17 November 2017 – 30 November, 2022)
